Queenstown's First Gurudwara Sahib — A Sacred Space for All
To establish Queenstown's first Gurudwara Sahib — a sacred space for prayer, community gathering, and spiritual growth.
A fully established Gurudwara Sahib serving local Sikhs, visitors, and the wider community through Seva, Langar, and Sangat.
Free community kitchen serving nutritious meals to all — regardless of faith, background, or status. A core Sikh principle.
Bringing together the Sikh and wider Queenstown community through religious celebrations and cultural events.
We follow the eternal Guru — Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji — and the teachings of the Ten Gurus as our guiding light.
Seva (selfless service), Simran (meditation), Sangat (community), and Langar (equality) form our foundation.
Currently in development — working with the NZ government and community to establish a permanent sacred space.
